Important sale at the San Giorgio Auction House on 13th March at 2.30 pm.
During this auction, lots of immense interest will be sold, including rare sabres and naval uniforms and headwear, models of ships among which one is particularly remarkable, made by the skilled workers of Orlando shipyards in Leghorn (Livorno), representing the R.N. "Trento". An important collection of American revolvers including examples of unquestionable rarity, Italian flintlock and wheel-lock firearms, exceptional French guns and from the Grand Duchy of Tuscany made by illustrious gunsmiths, English blue-blooded double-barrelled guns, a group of compressed air guns, and a selection of Italian and foreign pistols, will not fail to attract the attention of collectors. The Haute Époque is well represented by a group of halberds, swords, helmets; and of notable interest, a Burgonet for an Officer of the Civic Guard from the city of Bologna. A large group of Japanese weapons, Katanee Yari, paintings, crossbows from various periods, oriental weapons and still more, will also be up for auction.
