In the forthcoming auction, to be held on 8th May 2018 at the San Giorgio Auction House in Genoa, Italy, numerous lots of great interest and of extraordinary collectible worth will be put up for sale. These include a rare set of armour used by Napoleon III’s hundred guards comprising a helmet, bust and sword; a late 16th century European half armour; an Ottoman set of very fine quality, wheel-lock pistols and Italian and European guns, a rare hand-and-a-half Gothic sword, a considerable number of cage- and cup-hilt swords, a fine group of militaria with helmets worn by Generals and a group of historical objects used by the Light Cavalrymen from Padua; sets of pistols and a rare and interesting collection of fixed blade knives with rarely manufactured handles will also be auctioned. Also worthy of note are some remarkable examples of American Far West weapons. We are confident that this auction will be of immense interest to collectors.
